Decorfolia is a small, vibrant Interior Landscaping company and at its inception back in June 1976 was one of the forerunners specialising in the Hydroculture growing system. Our team of technicians take personal interest in their clients, often giving advice on plants and gardening in general.

The management team is totally involved with the grassroots activities of the Company and we are all involved with the day to day tasks ensuring our clients enjoy having healthy, well cared for plant displays.

Since purchasing our own nursery in Sway, we have been able to implement a number of ecologically sound ideas. We have always recycled our Leca planting medium, growing pots and plant waste, but having space here has allowed us to develop our "Green" practices further...

Our greenhouses have been insulated to reduce gas consumption.
LPG gas tank installed for all our office and greenhouse heating.
Have set aside land on the nursery to create a wildlife oasis.
We have dug a large wildlife pond to encourage amphibians and reptiles.
Planted a clover/wild flower meadow for bees and other insects.
Carefully worked out vehicle use to maximise every litre of fuel.
All our vehicles have lean burn engines.
Recycle all used materials where physically possible.
Shred all paper and packaging to add to our purpose built compost bins.
Ensure that all green waste from monthly contract visits is composted.
Contract Christmas trees are turned into bark chippings to use around the staff allotments.
Our web site is hosted by a company that utilise wind, water and solar power in accordance with the Renewable Energy Certification System (RECS).
Installed a "state of the art" composting toilet, requiring no water, mains sewerage or waste collection. Originally developed for the wilds of Northern Canada.
Planted over 1000 trees and hedging plants around the nursery, all native species, to attract birds and small mammals.

Decorfolia believes in the saying that 'every journey begins with a small step' and we hope that our number of small steps will add in some way to a more environmentally friendly society.
